Under 16?

Milton Nomads FC

Milton Nomads and Worle Rangers have merged together to create a pathway into adult football for under-16s, ensuring there is a supported pathway into adult football.

Established in 1969, Milton Nomads are the oldest “not-for-profit” Junior Football Club in North Somerset. The founders set up the club to provide the opportunity for the enjoyment of competitive and recreational football for all ages interested in playing football in Milton and the surrounding locality.

The Club’s objective shall remain in perpetuity to provide a safe place, where young people can come together, learn, and develop. Nomads respect the rights, dignity and worth of every person and treat each equally within the context of the sport, placing the well-being and safety of each player above all other considerations, including the development of performance.

The results are still improving within the reserves squad but still no 3 points last time we played Burnham United we lost 9-1, A few mistakes cost us this week but overall a good shift from the lads who kept their heads up and played through too the end With a few key players not available this week and a string of injuries, also going down to 10 men for the latter half of the game due to injury, we accept the result and move forward to our next fixture away from home Steve May takes MOTM this week put an absolute shift in until he couldn't do anymore. massive voice at the back and encouragement in abundance for the squad

Well the weather tried to put a stop to our game on Saturday but we had other ideas ! From the first whistle until the last we battled through the torrential rain and slippy conditions. The white kit took a battering but we didn't..... Both us and oldmixon had some great play on the field and chances came end to end. With a goal headed home by rob gerret from a brilliant corner taken by Noah Duchesne A second perfectly timed goal from Noah Duchesne whipped across by josh goodwin and a third calmly slotted in penalty from Stuart small we were unlucky not to at least get a point from the game but FairPlay to oldmixon united (who were a great team to play against) they took their chances with a couple of absolute rocket shots outside the box The hard work is slowly paying off and we are competing with a lot of teams. The lads are working hard to improve as a squad in every game and its showing more each week Players voted for Man of the match ⚽💪BEN PHILLIPS 💪⚽ work rate on the pitch was brilliant

WRV challenge....November edition: 🍼Bring a drink in anything but a drinks bottle 🍼 (And drink it apparently, even though this wasn't announced initially) And of course, because your vets know how important hydration is, they all dutifully delivered! if only we were this creative on the pitch..... 💸 Fines: Jim & Kev: for cereal tub duplication Crilly & Sid: for both bringing a leaky Sandwich Bag (Somehow Sutor avoided a fine for his dogshit 'BAG') See you all in 2 weeks for the BIG XMAS EDITION.....anything but a kit bag. UTWRV 💙🤍

After a DOMINANT performance, the real story is our very own Andrew Wilson! Not content with just a Hat-Trick 🎩, he decided to sweep the board in style: 🥇 Player of the Match (for the goals, probably) 🐴 Donkey of the Day for spooning wide the easiest of all the opportunities he had today (luckily it's also on camera, hopefully Quicky will upload below) 🍫 And also, won a chocolate bar for bringing his very own custom-labeled bottle of Coke (the original challenge of the day) fantastic dedication! A true legend! 🤣 Great shift from everyone today! Well deserved POTM for Wilson Nice to have a confidence booster & we go again in 2 weeks 💪🏻

This Week's Challenge: 🥔 Bring a different flavour of crisps 🥔 Today's result might of been a bit cheese & oniony (stinky & brought a tear to our eyes) but we absolutely nailed this week's challenge & no-one brought the 'family favourites' 😲 We saw our first ever 'NO SHOW' this week, which was courtesy of Kev Ballantine (Who brings a beer to a crisp fight?....the Scots ofcourse 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿). HUGE fine handed out, it's not how we roll, it's bad to see. And just the 1 duplicate this week with Ben Earey & Dean Bray both bringing Roast Turkey (the details of the stuffing are irrelevant)......fines for both, gracefully accepted! It's good to see. Sidenote: someone really didn't like Gavs flavour did they 😱 so much so we were tempted not to post until after the watershed..... Here's how the boys did UTWRV 💙🤍

Another 'tough to take' result for WRV today, who fell to a narrow 4-3 defeat despite controlling large spells of the game. The match was evenly poised at 0-0 until a couple of critical moments went against us and we found ourselves 2-0 down....SHAME Quicks involvement in the build-up to their second goal earned him the well-deserved Donkey of the Day 🐴 Despite being a bit shell shocked, the lads showed fantastic character, constantly fighting and pushing right until the final whistle, but we just couldn't quite turn the scoreline in our favour. Great heart and effort from everyone, just not our day (again) IT WILL COME!!! P.s. keep your eyes peeled for this weeks challenge video which will be posted shortly. UTWRV 💙🤍

Back to back victories for the Rangers following today's Somerset County Women's Football League fixture with a solid 4-0 win, which if not for a great performance from the Paulton Keeper could have been higher! ⚽⚽⚽ Laura M ⚽ Partridge 🅰️ Knight 🅰️ Eley 👋 Fisher - 1st Clean sheet of the season! 🏆 Players PotM - Laura - Imperious leading the line, holding up when needed and feeding the attack, whilst getting a Hat-Trick to cap it off! 🏆 Managers PotM - Leah - Centre of the unfamiliar "Back 3" and the complete defensive package today. Swept up everything that came at her, and drove herself and the team forward in possession! 🤝 Daisychain Child Care We turn our attention to the league cup next weekend as we welcome new oppostion to the rec! #UTR
