Over 35 and looking to keep playing, Worle Rangers Vets team compete in the Somerset Legends League. Games are played once per month on Sunday Mornings.

Milton Nomads FC

Milton Nomads and Worle Rangers have merged together to create a pathway into adult football for under-16s, ensuring there is a supported pathway into adult football.

Established in 1969, Milton Nomads are the oldest “not-for-profit” Junior Football Club in North Somerset. The founders set up the club to provide the opportunity for the enjoyment of competitive and recreational football for all ages interested in playing football in Milton and the surrounding locality.

The Club’s objective shall remain in perpetuity to provide a safe place, where young people can come together, learn, and develop. Nomads respect the rights, dignity and worth of every person and treat each equally within the context of the sport, placing the well-being and safety of each player above all other considerations, including the development of performance.

🔵⚪ FULL TIME Worle Rangers Ladies 0–12 Berrow Ladies A difficult afternoon for Rangers as an experienced and well-organised Berrow Ladies side came away with the three points against a new and developing Rangers squad. Both teams had to contend with challenging conditions, with strong winds causing problems throughout the 90 minutes and making life difficult on the pitch. Despite the scoreline, the Rangers players continued to work hard, support one another and battle right until the final whistle. The team stuck together and, importantly, never let their heads drop. This is a new squad, with plenty of new experiences and challenges to learn from. Results like today are tough, but they are part of the journey as we continue to develop, grow in confidence and build together as a team. We'll take the lessons, keep working hard and look forward to what comes next. 🔵⚪ Together, we move forward.

On a day when most of the league was washed out, massive effort and improvised pitch alterations ensured the game went ahead at Hutton Moor. The elements were brutal, but the football was even better. ⏱️ First Half: Shaking Off the Cold The match didn't start to plan in the driving rain and howling wind, with the Rangers falling 2-0 down early on. But instead of letting the heads drop, the boys dug deep, started playing our football, and fought right back into the tie to level it up 2-2 at the break. 📋 Second Half: The Plan Executed To Perfection Huddled together in the driving rain during halftime, the lads grouped up and locked in the second-half strategy. We suffered a tough 4-1 defeat at home on Saturday, 17 October 2026, dropping all three points in our local derby clash against Worle Colts. Playing at the Drove Road Recreation Ground, we battled hard but ultimately struggled to contain a clinical away side. Despite finding the back of the net to get ourselves on the scoresheet, the Colts' sharp finishing proved to be the difference on the day. Match Breakdown Detail Match Story The Setup A massive Weston-super-Mare & District League Division 4 local derby on home turf. The Result 1-4 loss. Introducing this weekends ‘Donkey of the Day’... 🐴⚽️ 👉🏽 Joel Page A very good performance, but this guy managed to hoof it over from just two yards out, with the whole goal hole gaping.... This resulted in the home team monetarily going down to just 8 (eight) subs as one of them had to walk to the pick-your-own pumpkin patch in the farm behind the pitch to get their ball back. Delightful stuff 👏🏽👏🏽

💔 MATCH REPORT: HEADS UP, LADS 💔 Football can be a cruel game. A tough afternoon at Drove Road saw our Worle Rangers Reserves fall to a clinical Hutton Colts side. While the 5-0 scoreline looks incredibly harsh on paper, it certainly didn't reflect the shift and heart the boys put in from the first whistle to the last. Here's how the battle unfolded: A harsh start Managers Josh Goodwin, Scott Liddle, and Shonte had the lads well-drilled and set up perfectly for a big local clash. Football is a game of fine margins, though; Hutton took an early chance that completely altered the momentum. Despite going behind, the lads kept their heads up and fought. Even when the game began to drift away in the second half, nobody threw in the towel. The work rate remained at 100% right until the final whistle. 💙 Fundraising Challenge | 60 Miles for Two Great Causes 🤍 This Saturday, a few members of the Worle Rangers FC family are taking on an incredible challenge in support of two very important charities. Worle Rangers FC Vets Manager Ben, Captain Dan and a few others will be running 60 miles from the Principality Stadium to The Optima Stadium, raising money for Weston Hospicecare and the MND Association. It’s an enormous challenge, but both charities do incredible work and rely heavily on fundraising and donations to continue supporting those who need them. 2-4 at the full time whistle....😕 Well what can we say about last weeks away fixture to shipham The first half performance was fantastic from our starting 11, defensively a brick wall... Passing the ball easily, linking up play and then pressing as a unit. 1-0 down but quickly turned into 1-1 at the break thanks to a brilliant run from James Oyedeji. A few changes at half time unfortunately didn't have the desired effect and we found ourselves constantly under threat from shiphams players. Matt Shakesheff hit a perfect ball straight over their defence and straight into the goal ⚽👌 unfortunately we couldn't recover but the effort was fantastic from everyone on the pitch. frustrated we still haven't found our first 3 points yet but we move onto this weeks home fixture against Hutton Colts ! MOTM James Oyedeji 👏🏻 Constant running and pressing , forcing the mistakes mistakes from shipham and bagging himself a really well earned goal ⚽ ⚽UPTHERANGERS⚽

⭐ Players of the Match ⭐ Despite the incredibly tough afternoon yesterday, the Rangers squad once again showed exactly what it means to be a Ranger. 💙🤍 With an injury-hit squad facing an even tougher challenge as the game went on, everyone continued to fight, play for each other and support their teammates right through to the final whistle. This week, we have three Players’ Players of the Game and a Sponsors’ Player of the Game. 🏆 Players’ Players – Pougher, Paul & Johnston It was impossible to separate these three performances. Pougher and Paul put in huge shifts in defence, making tackles, clearing their lines and doing everything they could to keep the opposition at bay. Johnston made her Rangers debut and certainly made an impression. After an excellent performance in midfield, she stepped into goal for the second half and pulled off some incredible saves when the team needed her most. 🧤 🏆 Sponsors’ Player – Johnston Johnston also picked up the Sponsors’ Player of the Game, with the sponsor recognising the same qualities as her teammates. 🔵⚪ FULL TIME Weston Mendip 13–0 Worle Rangers A hugely difficult afternoon for Rangers, with an already injury-hit squad facing a mountain to climb before the game had really got going. An injury inside the opening 10 minutes left us down to 10 players, and with further injuries throughout the afternoon, Rangers eventually finished the game with just 8 players on the pitch. Despite the circumstances and the scoreline, there were still periods of play that the team can be proud of. More importantly, the players once again showed exactly what it means to be a Ranger. Every player stayed positive, kept fighting and continued to play for each other right until the final whistle. 💙 Football can throw difficult days at you, and today was certainly one of them. But every player who stepped onto that pitch should be proud of their effort and the way they represented the club. Now it’s time to recover, reset and regroup. We have a week off next weekend before we return to action against Clevedon Town Women Development in three weeks’ time. We’ll use the break to recover, get players back fit and prepare to go again.

Saturday, 26th September⏰ Kick-off: 15:00 BST📍 Venue: The Down, Shipham (BS25 1SG) ⚠️ WARNING: We are playing on "The Slope". Scientists are still studying how gravity works on this pitch. Rumour has it that if you lose the ball down the hill, it ends up in the next county. Please arrive early to adjust to the altitude and ensure you've done at least 45 minutes of calf stretches. Gravity will not be on our side, but sheer panic might be. See you there! ⚽UPTHERANGERS⚽

But now it’s time to celebrate two players who stood out with fantastic individual performances! 👏 🏆 Players’ Player of the Game – Bethany Bateman This week’s Players’ Player goes to Bethany Bateman, who put in a standout performance in the centre of the pitch. Playing in a position she isn’t normally used to, Beth looked completely at home in the middle of the park. She controlled the game at times, worked tirelessly and played a huge part in driving Rangers forward. She capped off an excellent performance with an assist too. A thoroughly deserved award! 👏 🏆 Coaches’ Player of the Game – Caitlin Partridge The Coaches’ Player of the Game goes to Caitlin Partridge, who led the line brilliantly yesterday. 🔵⚪ FULL TIME Worle Rangers 2–3 Portishead Town Development A frustrating afternoon for Rangers as we let a two-goal lead slip away, conceding three goals in the final nine minutes to see Portishead take all three points. Rangers started brightly and were rewarded when Sellers opened the scoring with a fantastic strike from outside the box, with Partridge providing the assist. The lead was taken into the break, and Rangers came out fighting in the second half. It was Partridge who doubled our advantage with a brilliant individual finish, rounding the goalkeeper before calmly slotting the ball into the bottom corner after being played through by Bateman. With Rangers holding a 2–0 lead, Portishead changed shape and began to pile on the pressure. Unfortunately, we couldn’t withstand the late onslaught, with three goals in the final nine minutes turning the game around and leaving Rangers empty-handed. A much-improved performance for the majority of the game, but ultimately it’s another tough lesson for this Rangers side. There are plenty of positives to take from the first 80 minutes. Now it’s about learning from the final 10, dusting ourselves down and continuing to improve. We go again next week. 🔵⚪

It was Partridge who doubled our advantage with a brilliant individual finish, rounding the goalkeeper before calmly slotting the ball into the bottom corner after being played through by Bateman. With Rangers holding a 2–0 lead, Portishead changed shape and began to pile on the pressure. Unfortunately, we couldn’t withstand the late onslaught, with three goals in the final nine minutes turning the game around and leaving Rangers empty-handed. A much-improved performance for the majority of the game, but ultimately it’s another tough lesson for this Rangers side. There are plenty of positives to take from the first 80 minutes. Now it’s about learning from the final 10, dusting ourselves down and continuing to improve. We go again next week. 🔵⚪
